Quick-acting shut-off valve


In large and medium-sized power plant feedwater systems, the feedwater regulating valve is generally eliminated after the adoption of variable-speed pumps (adjustable-speed pumps), and the feedwater quantity is automatically adjusted by the feedwater pump. When the unit operates at a low load (30%-50% load), due to the reduction of system resistance, the pump head is correspondingly reduced, resulting in insufficient pressure drop for reheater spray water cooling, leading to insufficient cooling water and local overheating of the reheater. When the above operating conditions occur, a pressure difference is quickly established through this valve (pressure holding) to ensure the required head for spray water cooling; when the unit operates at a high load, the valve opens quickly, achieving unimpeded flow, saving a large amount of plant electricity, and optimizing equipment operating conditions.
